SwitchEasy CapsuleRebel

I broke down and purchased an iPhone last month and love it. I never thought I would want one and almost went for the T-Mobile G1 but T-Mobile coverage in my area sucks, plus their 3G coverage in the Seattle area is lame because it doesn’t cover the south sound. The 3G coverage from AT&T beats T-Mobile hands down.
So now that I’ve trashed my former employer let’s move on the the meat of the post. I dropped cash on an iPhone and needed to find a decent cover to protect it because I tend to drop phones more than most people. It’s like I have a phone dropping disease or something.
I wanted a case that met the following criteria:
- It had to be thin.
- It must be durable
- It must be easy to slip the phone in and out of my pocket
- Easy access to all buttons, functions
I finally settled on the CapsuleRebel case from SwitchEasy. The verdict? Very nice.
The rpoduct comes in three parts. A rubber-like cover and then a harder plastic cover that snaps over the rubber cover. The end result is exactly what you see in the photos on their web site. The package even comes with set of screen protectors and a mini cradle for the iPhone so you can stand it on it’s side to watch movies and stuff.
The plastic part of the cover scratches far too easy which is kind of a drag, but at least it’s the cover getting scratched and not the phone. Not bad for $25 bucks.
