Fat Loss, The Great Big Ball In the Sky and Science Fair

Posted on January 24, 2008 - Filed Under Diet, Fitness, General, Life, Year One

Like you care…

I have gone from 197lbs to 184lbs since January 1st.

I have been eating healthy food, and lots of it while doing minor exercise daily.  It’s really not as much effort as I thought it would be and I am happy with the results up to this point.  I think I’ve hit a wall at 184lbs and now it’s time to start digging into cardio every day to shed more before I get into strength building.  This was much easier at 19 then it is at 39.

We’ve had very clear and cold nights this past week with temps into the teens.  Clear nights in winter are cool, even more when there is a full moon.   This week has been full moon week and Alexander has been able to see it clearly from our large living room windows.

Toni told Alexander that the big round thing in the sky was “his ball” and that he should look at it and try to get it.   Now Alex thinks the moon is his personal “Big Ball in the Sky” that is always just out of reach.  Awwwww.

Alexander is trying to talk more each day and his vocalizations are getting pretty loud.  When he is excited he screams loud enough to shatter glass and ear drums.

Travis completed his Science Fair project on paper airplanes (with a little help from mom) and his project was chosen to be showcased in the fair today.  I wont know how well it went until I hear from him after school but proud that his effort is paying off.
