Alexander, Hater of Sleep.

That’s what we should have named him.

Alex is only 14 months old, and I already look back with fond memories of the days when he enjoyed going down for a nap or bedtime.

Alex is currently upstairs in his crib screaming and crying. If I didn’t know it was him up there, I would swear that a family of badgers where fighting up there.

When we started putting him in his crib for sleep time, he used to take five minutes to get adjusted (by screaming) and then he was out cold. Now he screams like he is on fire and it continues for 30+ minutes. I thought the time it takes for a baby to go down was supposed to get shorter, not longer.

At this rate, it will take him a few hours to go to sleep by the time he is two.
