Stairmaster, Molars and the Bodybib

Alexander has learned to climb the stairs from our living room to the second floor. It terrifies me to watch him do this. He is very quick while performing this stunt, making it to the top in just over a minute. Neat to see his coordination developing but man… stairs are a whole new ballgame when it comes to babies.

Captain Crankypants has been screaming all day and it’s been difficult to work from home today. Toni checked him out to see if there was a problem and she found a pair of molars poking through the back of his gums. It’s gonna be a long night.

Feeding Alexander has gone from me spooning food into his mouth to him wanting to do it all on his own. He has no idea how to use a spoon or fork so he uses his hands and by the time a meal is complete he looks like he’s been in the backyard playing with the dogs. It’s a total mess, almost to the point of needing another bath. I wish there was a large “Bodybib” that would cover the entire baby except their face. Put it on when it’s time to feed and then peel it off when they are done.

Might try footie pajamas as an alternative to the bodybib. That pretty much covers everything. Or maybe you can invent a whole new product and get rich and move to a tropical island and drink funny drinks with umbrellas in them.
Hey! Actually, my wife invented one, called (ironically) the bodybib! Lets you dress your child and put one on, straps at the arms & legs, covers everything (except face of course!), We love em. Kids can even run around with them on. And they absord moisture on 1 side but don’t soak through on the other…If you’re interested, let us know. We hit “pause” on marketing them after we had a few kids and now are going back to marketing them, should have a new website up in a few weeks (I own a marketing firm, we’re crankin’ the marketing up for it soon). If you’re interested in samples (pictures), pricing, etc., let us know!
Interested? You bet! Would love to see ‘em.
