Tight Cuts, Leg Wound 2 and Baby Stunts

I generally have no issues when kids have long hair, in fact it can look pretty cool most of the time. Travis, my middle son, had let his hair grow to a point where he started to look homeless. We’ve begged him to get his hair cut but he avoided it until last Saturday.
I bribed him with a visit to Tight Cuts and it worked! Tight Cuts has women dressed in mini skirts and tight white shirts, cutting your hair and offering a scalp massage. I thought the place would be kind of cheesy but was surprised to see it was actually a nice place. Travis cut all of his hair off, Mary the stylist got paid and I don’t need to explain to people that my son is homeless. Great deal all the way around.

The leg wound on Alexander is gone. Hooray! No MRSA or infection from his immunizations! However…

I don’t know if Alexander is testing us, if all babies have a death wish or he is trying at a young age to become a stunt baby/man. I’m leaning towards death wish.
Alex has taken so many “headers” into the floor it’s starting to worry me. He’ll run with his popper or ball and then BAM! Head first into the floor. It scares the crap out of me every time and I am starting to think he needs a helmet on at all times.
He likes to sit in front of the living room window so we set him up on a stool the other day so he watch the cars driving past the house. Out of nowhere, he thrust himself backwards as hard as possible, and ended up biting his tongue after crashing face first into the floor. There was blood and crying but he managed to survive. I don’t understand the whole “thrusting” thing, he is doing that a lot the past few weeks. Do all kids do this?

Maybe Alex saw Travis’ hair and thought he would grow up to be homeless too. Trav may have saved Alex’s life with the haircut. He now knows there is hope!!
Hope you and yours have an awesome holiday!
Keep posting. We love it!
