Baby Life - Week 48

Alex is 11 months old and his learning mode is in high gear.
He is pointing at everything and wants us to tell him what it is. He is still fascinated by lights, and says the word “light” more than any other.
Alex has migrated from little baby toys to books and more learning-type toys. He enjoys a series of soft foam books with characters that can be pulled out and replaced. These usually end up in his mouth, and then lost in the living room when his eye catches something else to play with. He enjoys books more than anything right now and I’m happy about it.
We are having a difficult time getting him to sleep in his crib and it’s become an issue. He will be dead asleep and the second we put him in his crib he wakes up and has a fit. We are trying to get this under control but it’s difficult and I am positive we are going about it the wrong way. Looks like I need to research it a bit more to find the best way of breaking him from sleeping in our bed.
