Baby Life – Week 47

Alex is 11 months old.
The past week is all about pointing at things. I will ask Alex “where is the light” and he will point at it. He knows light, mommy, daddy, dog, clock, phone and Mickey Mantle. I have photos in my office of some of the greatest Yankees to play the game, and Mantle is one of them. Alex learned to point at that one quick, and is now learning Babe Ruth.
Alex is still learning to talk, but we can only get a da-da ma-ma out of him. The rest of the time he speaks his own baby talk language.
Alex experienced the Western Washington Fair last weekend and loved it. So many things to see with flashing lights and sounds. I wish he could tell me what was going through his head as we wheeled him around.
