Baby Life – Week 45

Not a lot happening this week.
The four teeth that Alexander has coming in on the top row are huge. I imagine he will look like a beaver when they are 100%.
He has taken a step backwards when it comes to sleeping in his crib. The past week he wakes up an hour or two into his bedtime and will stand and cry for a loooooong time. We eventually move him into the bed with us where he sleeps the rest of the night. I know it’s not the right thing to do, but we have lots of stress in the house right now and need all of the sleep we can get.
His walking has improved and he is brave enough to walk from one area to another on his own. Short steps but they get him where he wants to go. We’ve had a few bumps along the way. Sometimes he’ll get going and then forget that there isn’t someone there to break his fall when he stops.
He loves LIGHTS. He will stare at the lights on the ceiling, even when they are off. It’s really become something of an obsession for him. He even understands the word “light” and will point to them when we say it.
That’s all for now, I am still busy trying to find a new job so updates are going to be pretty much weekly until I get settled down a bit.
