Standing and clapping.
Alexander is getting used to standing now and his balance gets better with each passing day. Alex will use just about anything he can get his hands on for balance but his faves are the ottoman and one of his musical toys. Here are a few photos of him playing with the annoying musical stand-up toy. He loves it but man does it get on my nerves after an hour.
We visit Starfall.com every day and go through the ABC’s. He loves the D section because towards the end there is a sequence with a song called “Dinosaur Dance”. While sitting on my lap yesterday and watching the dino song he started to clap on his own. He had no idea he was doing it, it was just a reaction because he was so excited. He would also open and close his hands in rapid succession.
Alex just wants to walk, and he gets more and more angry each day that he can’t. His determination level is much higher that his patience level.
