Baby Life - Week 37

Learning to crawl.
Alex learned to crawl this past week, and it’s opened a new world of exploration for him. He is almost 9 months old now and it also interested in walking. We assume that the crawling stage will be short and that he will enter into walking soon.
Everyone comments on his long legs and how large he is for an 8 month old baby. Having never been around babies before, this seems “normal” to me. Heck I thought they were actually larger when they were at this point, so what do I know.
Both of his bottom teeth have arrived and they are razor sharp. Just like puppies, babies get some wicked sharp teeth and have no idea that it hurts when they chomp on your fingers.
Alex has learned to make airplane arms (extend them out like he is flying) and now likes to shake his head while I am trying to feed him. It’s turned meal time into a messy adventure for both of us.
