Childhood TV: 70’s Public Service Announcements

Just found these on YouTube and have to share. I remember all of these and for some reason they have stayed with me throughout the years.
The first commercial is the Keep America Beautiful campaign featuring Iron Eyes Cody, the Native American who was actually an Italian.
Next is the Give a Hoot! Don’t Pollute! Some classic Woodsy Owl. I can still sing the entire Give a Hoot! Don’t Pollute! song, and will only do so when bribed with alcohol or geek toys.
Here is an original “Friends Don’t Let Friends Drink And Drive” commercial — from 1979 starring Star Wars characters!
Anti-smoking was big in the 70s. Even before all of the secondhand smoke studies came out we had a PSA telling people that we MIND VERY MUCH IF THEY SMOKE.
And finally, one that Toni and I still sing every now and then when were are in the kitchen. Don’t Drown Your Food!!!
