Baby Life - Week 25 - 6 Months!

Today is the 6-month mark for Alexander and it has all come so fast. I’m a little sad that he is growing so quick, almost feeling like I am going to miss something in his development. I am also very happy to have a warm, wonderful healthy son and am thankful every day for what I have.
Alex is testing his vocabulary skills and is starting to baby talk more and more each day. He has discovered that he has range and can make loud noises now.
Alex discovered what a rattle was this week, and if we give him anything that makes noise he spends most of his time shaking it to get a response.
Toni tells me that the 6 month mark is like an age of discovery for children and that he will change almost daily from here on out. Yikes!
I have been very busy wih work the past few weeks and it is starting to make me cranky as hell and I’ve been a pain in the butt to be around. Alex and Travis both tend to get me out of those moods so it’s a joy to have them around.
I’ve installed Ubuntu 7.04 on my primary machine now and am dual booting between Linux and Windows. I prefer Linux for my day to day stuff but boot back to windows for my games. I wish I could get the games running better on Linux so I could make the change 100%. Ah well.
