Baby Life - Week 15

Posted on February 8, 2007 - Filed Under Baby Life, Life

Week 15 has been busy.

Work has been taking it’s toll on my time and energy so I have not felt like writing much.

Toni has started working and so far we have not had any accidents while she is gone, and Alexander has survived! The boys have been good about taking care of Alex when Toni is gone which takes some of the stress off of me. Travis performed him first diaper change last week, but wont go near a poopy one.

Late last week we attended a funeral for Ron Marzano. Ron is a relative of mine and the funeral was a tough one. Ron was buried with full military honors for serving many years in the Air Force including life as an A-1 Skyraider pilot all the way to Cheif of Security for the Air Force in Europe. This was the first militray funeral I have been to and it was just sad.

The cemetary is also where our friends daughter is buried so we stopped by to pay our respect. I think we were both doing fine until we got to her grave and then the reality hit home that people we love can be taken away without notice. I guess we need to take more time to enjoy what we have and appreciate the little things in life that bring us joy.

Type your comment here.I know funerals are very touching & sad but are a nessasary event. Its a final resting place for the individual wno is being inturned.Depending on the closeness of the deceased one to you, that is the hardest to bare.It just doesnt get any easier.
