Baby Life – Week 9

Late start this week due to holidays and stuff, sorry.
Alexander had his first series of shots yesterday and it was not a fun experience. One on each thigh, and then an oral immunization to top things off. I was proud of him for taking it well and not crying much because I would have been in tears. I thought today he would be sore but he is sitting next to me laughing and making his “whoooo” sound which means he is in a good mood.
The doctor examined the small lump behind his left ear that is getting larger and she feels it is nothing to worry about right now. It if becomes a problem we can have it removed when he is older.
Alexander has gained a half pound in one week and that seems to be the going rate for his growth right now. His length is 23+ inches which is average.
Toni and I are suffering from sore throats that we picked up over the Christmas holiday and it’s painful. We are out of commission right now and our home should be avoided! I hope that we will be back to normal by New Years so we can ring in 2007 with style.
