Ghetto Snow Boarding

Travis loves to skateboard but the snow and ice have pushed that activity out of the way until things clear up. An alternative would be a snowboard, but he doesn’t own one so as usual, he got creative.
Enter his new creation: The Ghetto Snow Board
Take one skate board, remove the trucks and wheels then you’ve got a Ghetto Snow Board. Imagine the hover board from the movie Back to the Future, without the hover.
Travis spent hours sliding down our front walkway on the Ghetto Snow Board yesterday and it was difficult to pry him away from it when it was time to come inside. Not content with just standing and sliding down the front walk, he decided it was time to take a small plastic garbage can and place it upside down on the board so he could sit on the can and ride the board down the hill.
All of this without safety equipment! The kid lives his life like a mini Evil Knievel!
Looks like we will get another load of snow dumped on us tonight so I assume we will see more of the Ghetto Snow Board in the coming days. I’ll try to get pictures.
