We brought Alexander in for a doctors appointment today because he has been ultra fussy the past few days and we thought it might be caused by a case of thrush.

Alex tipped the scales at 9obs 15oz. which is a big, healthy growth spurt for his first month.

The thrush issue is minor as it appears we caught it very early in the process. The doctor also thinks that Alex is dealing with baby acid reflux at night gave us some antacids to help with that. We noticed that Alex tends to “snort” or have a deep wheeze at night and thought that he was just a noisy baby. Turns out this is probably caused by the acid reflux so we will see how he does with the medicine tonight.
