Ocean Spray Packaging

Toni returned from a recent trip to the grocery store with several boxes of fruit drinks from Ocean Spray. I usually avoid that stuff but found something interesting with the packaging, something that Ocean Spry might want to correct. The “G” in the word Grape for the Ocean Spray Grape Drink on the top of the package sits right in the center. This is where the cut out resides for people to grab and carry the package. What happens when the cut out removes the G?
The Ocean Spray Grape drink package turns into Ocean Spray RAPE Drink. Ouch. The Strawberry drink package becomes Rawberry, while not as funny, still got a chuckle out of me.
Perhaps the marketing folks at Ocean Spray would like to have a meeting with the graphics department and fix this… unless they are trying to get into an untapped market. Coming soon from Ocean Spray, a new line of adult juices consisting of Roofie Sunrise Surprise, Spanish Fly Tropical Passion or Rainbow Acid Delight.
