Museum Day September 30th 2006

While browsing through the Smithsonian site today I came across Museum Day. On September 30th, 2006 museums across the country will offer FREE admission to it’s visitors for one day. This is the first time the event will be open to the general public as well as Smithsonian magazine’s subscribers.

To participate, you need to click on this link and download the Museum Day Card, print it and bring it with you when you go to a participating museum.

Local participants include the Washington State History Museum and the Tacoma Art Museum. Not in Tacoma? You can search for a list of participating museums here.
