Pregnancy Week 34

Posted on September 18, 2006 - Filed Under Life

Welcome to week 34!

I am using the Windows Live Writer Beta to publish this post, hopefully it will work.

Last week was busy and painful for Toni.  Her lower back has spikes of pan that render her unable to stand or walk.  Toni was in a car accident about five years ago and one of the lingering effects from the crash is occasional pain with her sciatic nerve.  We suspect that the nerve is getting some pressure from the baby causing her random shots of pain.  It’s horrible to see her when this happens because she can’t move, and there is nothing that we can do to help her.

We have an appointment tomorrow with the doctor and will ask him if there is anything we can do about the pain.  Tomorrow is also ULTRA SOUND day!  Can’t wait to see how large the baby is and hope to get better 3D images this time.

Toni feels the pressure on her stomach growing every day as the baby continues to grow.  Her stomach feels tight, like a water balloon that is ready to burst.  This makes it easier to feel the baby when he moves… and moving is 24/7 non-stop!  His feet move more than anything and Toni says his head is putting a lot of pressure on her bladder so she is making frequent trips to the bathroom.

The baby shower is this Saturday the 23rd so expect me to push the baby registry links all week!  If you buy anything using the Babies R Us or Baby Outlet links we get a commission on the sales so you are helping us finance this site and juniors college fund.
