Game Update

Posted on June 23, 2006 - Filed Under Games

I have put Out of the Park Baseball 2006 on hold until the next patch is released.  I am impressed with the scope of the game but there are too many issues that make it unplayable right now.  I don’t want to get deep into a career until things are patched.

I decided to try the Everquest 2 Trial of the Isle to get a feel for the differences between Everquest and Everquest 2.  I was blown away.  The original Everquest was great and I had played a few years before losing interest.  Everquest 2 is a massive leap in the right direction for a player with limited time like me.  Love the solo quests, not camping a mob for hours to get an item and players.  The new character classes are incredible offering a wide variety to choose from.  I am currently playing a Dirge which is a cross between a Scout and Bard class.  I am able to logon and play for an hour or two and actually feel like I’ve accomplished something which was the problem I had with World of Warcraft.  My World of Warcraft days are over.
