Mini Me

My wife is four months pregnant with boy number three. We have two boys from her previous relationship (Sean 17 and Travis 12) but this is our first baby together.
I’m clueless with baby things and asked my wife early into the pregnancy how often you have to wash a baby? Daily? Hourly? I have no idea because I’ve never gone through this before. She looked at me for a moment, and then burst into laughter.
“You wash them every day” she says while laughing herself into tears. Then it hit her… I’m having the baby of a man that has no idea how often you wash a baby. :)
She likes to bring this up to people and poke fun at me which is fine. I remind her that with three boys in the house (four if you include me, six if you include the dogs) that the rest of her life will be spent in a testosterone filled house where she will always lose!

Oh my gosh, This is a fun page. Although I can’t believe you didn’t know the baby bathing thing. I guess we didn’t have any babies around when you were growing up. Don’t worry, there is a whole lot more to learn about baby-dom that will just blow you away.
And there you go… the perils of having your mom comment on your personal blog.
Well, after reading the latest “comments” on things you don’t know about babies, I am actually concerned for my new grandson! Of course, you can always call 1-800-MOM to get answers and help, too.
